About the Role
This is a temporary, ongoing HGV Class 1 (C E) driving role based in Woking, offering flexible hours and a pay rate of £22.41 to £25.53 per hour. As a Class 1 Driver for Royal Mail, you will perform trunking operations between national depots, with no handballing required. - Complete vehicle checks and uphold top‑tier safety
- Follow scheduled routes with precision
- Represent Royal Mail with professionalism on every run
- Valid HGV Class 1 / C E licence (held for 2 years)
- A valid and in date CPC Digital Tachograph card
- 180 days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years
- Max 6 points on your licence
- Able to pass vetting & DBS checks
- Excellent pay: £22.41–£25.53 p/h (shift dependent)
- Guaranteed minimum daily hours
- Weekly pay, holiday accrual & pension (PAYE)
- Option to secure preferred shifts after assessment
- Onsite parking & canteen facilities are available in most Depots
