CLASS 1 DRIVER

Class 1 Driver

Vanta Staffing Reading are recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to work for our client based in the Oxford area. This will involve trunking work, a perfect role for drivers who want consistent work with a prestigious company.

Requirements of a Class 1 Driver:

• Minimum 18 months HGV driving (Cat C+E) recent experience.
• Be able to complete 2-3 runs - Day work / Trunking work - Nights
• Have a valid CPC and digi tacho
• No more than 6 points (No DR or IN)

Details:

• Salary: £18ph - Days / £19ph - Nights
• Working hours: Monday to Friday (05.00 am start) or (17.00 start)
• Location: Oxford
• Duration: Temporary

Role of a Class 1 Driver:

• Complete trunking runs; trailer swapping will be involved - Nights
• Collections and delivery work (2-3 runs) - Days 
• Complete vehicle checks
• Being flexible and able to complete runs safely
