Class 1 Night Driver - Trunking

We''re currently looking for full-time Class 1 Drivers to join us at our site in Leigh, with immediate starts available on a temporary ongoing basis. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking reliable work with the possibility of temp-to-perm positions for the right candidates.
Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding andamp; Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- A local collection first then a trunk up to a regional partner site to drop freight then travel back empty
- Safely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards.
- Using a handheld scanner and completing relevant paperwork
- Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA.
Requirements:
- HGV1 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- ADR licence is preferred but not essential.
- No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
- A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
- A can-do attitude
