Class 1 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based across the UK. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.

Shifts:-Monday to Friday

Hours: 09:00am starts

Pay Rate: -19.08 per hour PAYE, overtime after 40 hours -27.26 per hour PAYE

Location: Leeds, LS27

Job Type: Temp to Perm

The role:

• 6 to 8 Bulk Collections.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient operations and timely Collections.
• Travel to local sites for a one-off download of the tacho card prior to being put forward for the position.
• Attend an on-site induction for the first shift.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
• Have at least 12 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Less than 12 infringement points in any one month and no infringement points for three consecutive months.
• Flexibility to work shifts across Monday to Sunday with start time 09:00am to 18:00pm -
• Ability to travel to local site for tacho card download prior to being put forward.
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
