Full job description

· Allocated top spec vehicle with, fridge, microwave and invertor (Volvo).

• Delivering/Collecting Goods all over UK, Refrigerated vehicles
• Complete daily vehicle checks in line with Operating Licence procedures, reporting any defects to the Transport department
• Compliance with all regulations relating to Drivers hours and tachographs
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Any other duties as delegated by the Transport Department

Essential Criteria

· Must hold a valid HGV1 licence, Digital Tachograph card and Full Driver CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) Min 1 years driving experience.

• Good Geographical knowledge of UK
• Excellent Knowledge of driver’s hours, rules and regulations
• Good Communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be able to apply Manual Handling techniques
• Must be flexible to work weekends
• Must be over 21 years old (for insurance purposes)

Experience:

· Driving a Goods Vehicle: 1 year (Required)

• Temperature controlled vehicles: 1 year (Required)

· Driver CPC (Required)

Shift Pattern:

· 1 week tramping (6 days then 5 days) (24 hour break will be taken at home)

• 2 Week Tramping (24 hour break away from base, returning for fortnightly rest requirements)
• 4 On / 4 Off (Limited Positions available for this rota pattern)
