Class 1 Tramper Driver Location: Rutland Area Salary: £14.50 - £15.03 per hourDue to continued growth, our client a leading logistics and general haulage business are seeking experienced Class 1 Day Drivers to join their transport team, delivering palletised freight using curtain-sided articulated vehicles.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete deliveries and collections of palletised general haulage across the UKSafely operate Class 1 articulated vehicles whilst working away during the weekEnsure loads are secured and transported safelyComplete daily vehicle checks and defect reportingMaintain accurate delivery paperwork and recordsProvide a professional service to customers at collection and delivery pointsComply with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and road transport legislationMaintain high standards of vehicle care and road safetyRequirementsValid Class 1 (Category C+E) LicenceValid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph CardPrevious Class 1 driving experienceExperience with curtain-sided trailers would be advantageousGood understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time RegulationsADR Licence would be advantageousWillingness to work away from home during the working weekProfessional and reliable approachSalary and Benefits£14.50 per hour (Class 1 Tramper)£15.03 per hour (Class 1 ADR Tramper)Tax-free meal allowance of £1,150 per annum28 days holiday including Bank HolidaysGroup profit share bonusMedicash schemeSalary Extras benefits platformRegular tramping workBennett and Game ..... full job details .....
