HGV Class 1 Drivers

Location: Burton-on-Trent (DE14)

Start times require are between the following:

• 00:00-02:00
• 08:00-12:00
• 20:30-23:30

Pay Rates:

• Monday to Friday (Days): -17.44/hr
• Monday to Friday (Nights): -18.72/hr
• Saturday: -21.09/hr
• Sunday: -22.63/hr
• Minimum Pay: 9.6 hours per shift guaranteed
• Shifts: Flexible patterns available | Night work | Ongoing & Temp-to-Perm

What the role involves:

• Trunking to NDCs (no handball)
• Yard shunting work available
• Curtain-sided trailer work
• Coordinating with the transport team before and after shifts
• Load checks and paperwork completion
• Liaising with site security and warehouse staff
• Full compliance with tachograph and working time regulations
• Pre-assessment drug and alcohol screening required
