The basic hours for this role are Monday to Friday 42.5 hours plus overtime.Specific tasks include:To oversee the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premisesEnsuring Proofs of Delivery are signed and returned without delay.To check the load security and weight distribution according to latest safe working practices at the beginning and end of each shift.To ensure that the delivery vehicles are always maintained to Company standards, of reporting of any defects to the vehicle.Ensures vehicles are in safe condition, with daily checks correctly completed before use, and are operated in a safe manner.Uphold all exacting health and safety standards at site, on the road and at customer premises.Be an ambassador for high-quality customer serviceSupport in the warehouse when needed.All About YouEssential Skills for the role:To hold a valid HGV Class 1 Licence (with no more than 6 points).Own a Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.Knowledge of working time directive.Previous experience in a warehousing or distribution business, ..... full job details .....
