About the Role

This temporary Class 1 Driver - Shunting work role in Brigg suits a licensed C+E holder seeking ongoing weekday shifts. Based from Elsham, the successful candidate drives a curtainsider between the production site and a Stallingborough warehouse, completing shunting duties throughout each day. Hours run Monday to Friday, with starts between 06:30 and 07:00 and finishes from 15:30 to 16:00. All palletised loads are handled by forklift operators, so no manual unloading is required. Applicants need a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, Digi card and Driver CPC. Pay is £15.00 per hour, rising to £18.00 after eight hours and at weekends, with paid breaks and 28 days holiday. The Role
You will be driving a Class 1 Curtainsider vehicle, collecting your truck from Elsham and completing shunting work between the production site and warehouse in Stallingborough throughout the day.
* Ongoing Class 1 work with the potential to become a permanent role
* Monday to Friday working pattern
* Start times between 06:30 - 07:00
* Finish times between 15:30 - 16:00
* Palletised loads with all loading and unloading completed by FLT drivers
* No handball involved
Pay Rates (PAYE)
* £15.00 per hour
* £18.00 per hour after 8 hours and at weekends
* 28 days holiday per year
* Paid breaks
What You Need
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Digi card and Driver CPC
* Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience
* Maximum 6 penalty points (no DD/DR convictions)
