About the Role
Rapier Employment seeks a Class 1 Driver for a well-known client in Swindon, paying £16.34 per hour on a full-time, temporary basis. Working Monday to Thursday with starts between 15:00 and 17:00, you will complete two to three daily trunking runs between Swindon and Oxford. Responsibilities include verifying correct part loading, performing vehicle and trailer checks, reporting defects, and maintaining accurate paperwork. New passes are welcome, though prior Class 2 or PCV experience is ideal. A full Cat C+E licence, CPC card, and Digi card are required. Experience: Open to new passes - some experience from Class 2 or PCV ideally
The job:
- Making sure the correct amount of parts are loaded onto the vehicle
- Complete 2-3 runs per day trunking between the Swindon and Oxford site
- Complete vehicle and trailer checks, recording information internally and reporting any defects
- Be able to maintain accurate paperwork/electronic records
