About the Role

Rapier Employment seeks a Class 1 Driver for a well-known client in Didcot. This full-time position offers £20 to £23 per hour, with overtime after 45 hours at a higher rate. The working pattern is Thursday to Monday, with start times between 13:00 and 16:00. You must have held a C E licence for at least six months. Responsibilities include transporting goods across various locations, operating a Class 1 vehicle for trunking operations, and completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintaining accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and deliveries is essential. This role requires adherence to company policies and efficient schedule management.

Rapier Employment are looking for Class 1 drivers to support our well-known client based in Didcot.
** This is a great opportunity for someone who has held their C E licence for 6 months **
Role: Class 1 Driver
Pay: £20 to £23 per hour - overtime after 45 hours on higher rate
Hours: Start times between 13:00 & 16:00
Days: Thursday to Monday rota
Job includes:

Transport goods between different locations, ensuring efficient delivery schedules
Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle for trunking operations, adhering to company policies
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and report any issues
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details
Communicate effectively with the transportation team and other drivers to coordinate trunking operations

What you'll need:

Held C E licence for 6 months minimum
No more than 6 points on your licence
Strong knowledge of road safety and excellent driving skills
Available to work weekdays and weekends
Full UK licence, valid CPC card and digital tacho card
