About the Role

Rapier Employment seeks Class 1 Drivers in Swindon to support a well-known client, offering temporary-to-permanent contracts. Candidates must have held a category C+E licence for at least six months. Working patterns include Thursday to Monday or Friday to Tuesday, with starts between 12:00 and 15:00. Pay ranges from £20.45 to £29.57 hourly: days £20.45, nights £21.57, overtime £25.56, weekends £26.97–£29.57. Duties involve transporting goods between locations, mainly trunking routes from Swindon across the South Coast and up to the Midlands, plus occasional store overflow deliveries. Full-time hours, professional driving standards, and reliability are essential.

Rapier Employment are looking for Class 1 drivers to support our well-known client based in Swindon. These positions are temp to perm for the right candidate.
** Must have held licence for 6 months minimum (category C+E) **
Position: Class 1 Driver - temporary to permanent positions available
Shifts & hours:

Thursday to Monday: 12:00 - 15:00 starts
Friday to Tuesday: 12:00 - 15:00 starts

Pay rates below:
Days: £20.45 per hour
Nights: £21.57 per hour
Overtime: £25.56 per hour
Weekend: £26.97 - £29.57 per hour
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Transporting goods between various locations efficiently and in a timely manner.
Deliveries from Swindon will be across the South Coast of England up to the Midlands.
Drivers will mostly cover trunking, some store overflow deliveries may be required.
Conduct pre-trip and post trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness and report any maintenance or mechanical issues.
Always provide exceptional customer service.
