About the Role
Rapier Employment seeks a permanent Class 1 Driver for a well-established client in Bicester. The role pays £17.31 to £18.43 hourly, with a 46-hour week from Monday to Thursday and occasional Fridays. Morning or night shifts are available, requiring a four-hour availability window for planning. Your duties involve trunking, collecting parts from third-party suppliers, and delivering them to the site. You will oversee secure loading without handballing, completing one or two runs per day based on customer needs. Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting defects is essential. Applicants need six months of Class 1 driving experience. Interviews and assessments are provided.

Pay: £17.31 - £18.34 per hour
Role: Class 1 Driver
Hours: Starts available - morning & night shifts. Site usually require at least a 4 hour window for planning purposes
Days: 46-hour working week, Monday to Thursday with occasional Fridays
Job role:
- Trunking collecting parts from 3rd party companies and delivering back to site
- Oversee loading of goods and ensure goods are securely loaded. No handballing involved
- Runs can vary from 1-2 depending on customer requirements
- Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, and reporting any defects or issues
- Maintain accurate electronic records via the tablet
- This is a 46-hour working week, Monday to Thursday

Requirements:
- Full UK licence (C+E)
- CPC card
- Digi card
- 6 months C+E driving experience
