About the Role
Rapier Employment is recruiting permanent Class 1 Drivers for a well-established client relocating to Bicester in August 2026. This full-time role starts on 17th August, with interviews available. The pay ranges from £17.31 to £18.43 per hour, depending on experience. Working patterns include morning, afternoon, and night shifts, Monday to Thursday with occasional Fridays. Drivers will trunk parts from third-party companies back to the site, overseeing loading without handballing. Routes vary from one to two per shift based on customer needs. Responsibilities include completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, reporting defects, and maintaining accurate electronic records. A four-hour planning window is typically required.

Role: Class 1 Driver
Hours: Starts available - mornings, afternoons, nights. Site usually require at least a 4 hour window for planning purposes
Days: Monday to Thursday with occasional Fridays
Job role:
- Trunking collecting parts from 3rd party companies and delivering back to site
- Oversee loading of goods and ensure goods are securely loaded. No handballing involved
- Runs can vary from 1-2 depending on customer requirements
- Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, and reporting any defects or issues
- Maintain accurate electronic records via the tablet
Requirements:
- Full UK licence (C+E)
- CPC card
- Digi card
- Held C+E for 12 months
