About the Role
Pertemps Crewe is recruiting a Class 1 Driver for a national client based in Crewe. This full-time role involves trunking work across the Northwest, operating single-decker curtain-sided heavy goods vehicles. Typical shifts average 10 hours per day, delivering palletised goods to DCs and cash and carries. You must be willing to drive a Class 2 vehicle when required. The position runs Monday to Friday on an ongoing basis, with pay rates from £17.14 to £34.28 per hour. Applicants need a minimum of two years' HGV driving experience, a full UK driving licence with no more than six points, plus valid CPC and Digi cards.
HGV Drivers
Our National Client in Crewe is looking to recruit HGV 1 / LGV 1 / Class 1 / C+E drivers to work within their prestigious organisation.
As a HGV 1 / LGV 1 / Class 1 / C+E driver your responsibilities will include:
- Trunking work around the Northwest
- Driving single decker curtain sided heavy gods vehicles.
- Average 10 hours per day
- Delivery of palletised goods to DC's and Cash and carry's
- Must be willing to drive class 2 if needed
For this HGV 1 / LGV 1 / Class 1 / C+E drivers role, you will need:
- Experience of driving HGV vehicles (Min 2 years)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- No more than 6 points
- CPC + DIGI Card
