About the Role
This role is for a Class 1 Driver - Northampton based in Crick, operating on a flexible hours contract with pay between £21.44 and £24.57 per hour. You will support Royal Mail’s nationwide trunking operations, driving organised Depot to Depot routes without handballing. Morning, evening, and weekend shifts are available to suit your schedule. Key responsibilities include transporting mail between national sites, completing thorough vehicle checks, and maintaining high safety standards. - Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence (held for 2+ years)
- A valid and in date CPC + Digital Tachograph card
- 180+ days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years
- Max 6 points on your licence
- Able to pass vetting & DBS checks
- Excellent pay: £21.44–£24.57 p/h (shift dependent)
- Guaranteed minimum daily hours
- Weekly pay, holiday accrual & pension (PAYE)
- Option to secure preferred shifts after assessment
- Onsite parking & canteen facilities are available in most Depots
