Pertemps Loughborough Commercial is seeking a Class 1 Driver - Nights to join their client based at East Midlands Gateway in Kegworth. This full-time position offers a pay rate of £18 to £18.75 per hour and provides long-term ongoing work with potential for permanent employment. The role involves trunking operations across the UK using box trailers and curtain siders, delivering to both RDC’s and NDC’s. Shift patterns are Monday to Friday with available night start windows. Applicants must hold a valid Class 1 Licence for at least six months, along with a current tacho and DQC card. Responsibilities include trunking between sites, adhering to safe working practices, and following company policies.
Job Description Class 1 HGV Night Driver Pertemps are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Night Drivers to work for our client based at East Midlands Gateway. Our client is able to offer Class 1 Drivers long term ongoing work with opportunities to go permanent as well. You will undertake trunking work on both box trailers and curtain siders to RDC’s and NDC’s around the UK.
Shift Patterns / Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift start windows available
- Have held a valid Class 1 Licence for a minimum of 6 months
- Have a valid tacho and DQC card
- Have a positive can do attitude
- Trunking between company sites and RDC’s / NDC’s
- Following safe systems of work and company policy
- Nights – £18.75 per hour
- Nights OT after 9.6 hours daily – £28.12 per hour
- Weekly pay or monthly pay – you choose
