About the Role
A Class 1 Driver Nights position is available in Tuffley with Pertemps Gloucester, offering £17.71 per hour plus annual leave. This full-time role is on a temporary-to-permanent basis, working Tuesday to Saturday with start times between 00:00 and 03:00, finishing around 12:00 to 14:00. The role involves store deliveries with three to eight drops per shift, requiring handballing of cages and tail lift operation. Drivers will complete delivery notes, perform daily vehicle checks, and represent the company professionally. Newly qualified drivers are welcome. Free on-site parking is provided. Key skills include a valid Class 1 (Cat C E) licence and the ability to handle physical goods.
HGV Class 1 night driver, needed in Gloucester, paying £17.71 per hour annual leave on top, Ongoing work Tuesday to Saturday, starting between 00:00-03:00am and finishing around 12:00-14:00pm , Free on-site parking and optional. This role will include store deliveries and 3-8 drops with handballing of cages required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and deliver goods driving a Class 1 (Cat C E) vehicle
- Complete delivery notes and paperwork accurately
- Represent the company professionally with a positive attitude
- Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy
- Always deliver excellent customer service
What We’re Looking For:
- Hold a full, in-date UK Class 1 (Cat C E) driving licence
- Hold a valid, in-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Positive & professional 'can-do' attitude with customers
- Be a team player and take pride in keeping trucks clean & tidy
- Maximum of 9 points for minor endorsements
- Over the age of 21 (insurance purposes)
- Able to pass company induction, including:
Driving & reversing assessments
