Class 1 Driver

Class 1 Driver - Days
Location: Stowmarket - IP14 2QU
Shifts: Monday to Friday starting from 6am
Pay Rate: -16.56 per hour

We are looking for dedicated Class 1 Drivers to join our team at our Stowmarket site on a temp basis, for the right candidate.

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

What you''ll do on a typical day:

• Trunking paint products (non-ADR) to various depots, including Goole, Crick, Slough, Thatcham, and Rochester
• Adhering to road traffic laws
• Daily vehicle checks
• Safely operate your vehicle adhering to XPO standards
• Operating a curtain sider trailer

Requirements:

• We''ll need you to have a full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement)
• You''ll have no more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
