Class 1 (C+E) Artic Driver
Location: Milton Keynes, MK15 8BA
Shift Times: Monday to Friday, 05:30 start
Pay Rate: £17.16 per hour
We are looking for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Artic Driver to carry out deliveries to trade customers across the South of England, including regular deliveries into London.
The role involves delivering products on a curtain-sided trailer, with goods typically unloaded by forklift truck at customer sites. Drivers must be confident operating in a variety of delivery environments, including busy urban areas and trade premises.
Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services, offering a range of services including drayage, global freight forwarding and full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver products to trade customers throughout the South of England and London
Operate a Class 1 articulated vehicle safely and professionally
Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely
Complete all delivery paperwork and PODs accurately
Conduct daily vehicle checks and comply with driver hours and tachograph regulations
Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations

Requirements:

Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Experience driving articulated vehicles preferred
Good geographical knowledge of the South of England and London
Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach
Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively
