About the Role

The Class 1 Driver position based in Worksop, offered through Manpower UK, involves completing deliveries from the local depot. This temporary role pays up to £15.84 per hour, with Monday to Friday shifts starting between 05:00 and 08:00; a four-on, four-off pattern is also available. Responsibilities include performing daily vehicle and load safety checks, securing cargo correctly, and delivering to distribution centres for clients such as B&Q and Screwfix. Drivers reverse onto loading bays for unloading, then return to the depot for a reload or trailer swap, completing up to three runs per shift. Adherence to road transport and health and safety regulations is essential. A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence is required.

Location: Worksop
Shifts: Monday - Friday, start times from 05:00 - 08:00 (4 on, 4 off shift also available)
Pay Rate: £15.84
We are looking for a reliable Class 1 Driver to join our team, completing deliveries from our Worksop depot.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out daily vehicle and load checks, ensuring loads are secure and correctly strapped before departure.
Deliver to distribution centres, including Bandamp;Q and Screwfix.
Reverse safely onto loading bays, where warehouse staff will unload the trailer.
Return to the depot with an empty trailer, where you will either be reloaded or complete a trailer swap.
Complete up to 3 runs per shift.
Follow all road transport and health andamp; safety regulations.

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Experience reversing onto loading bays.
Good understanding of load security and vehicle safety checks.
Safety boots and a hi-vis vest are required.
