Class 1 Driver Trunking
Location: Normanton, WF6 1RW
Shift times: Monday to Friday, start times from Midday
Pay Rate: £15.41 p/h

*As this is a specialised contracted ADR is preferred but not essential*

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding andamp; Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

We''re looking for full-time, Class 1 Days Drivers to join us at our site in Normanton. This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate.

What you''ll do on a typical day:
· Longer distance routes delivery to customer sites and branches.
· Safely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards.
· Using a hand held scanner and completing relevant paperwork.
· Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA.

What you need to succeed with our client:
· HGV1 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), ADR is preferred but not essential
· No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
· A minimum of 6 months Class 1 driving experience
· Multidrop delivery experience.
· Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
· A can-do attitude.
