About the Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing trunking movements between distribution centres, primarily servicing sites in Sheffield and Huddersfield. This is a straightforward depot-to-depot role involving reversing onto loading bays, exchanging trailers, and continuing to the next destination, with no handball required.

Your duties will include:

Safely transporting trailers between distribution centres.
Reversing onto loading bays to exchange trailers.
Swapping trailers and continuing to the next scheduled destination.
Completing all vehicle checks and paperwork in line with company procedures.
Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with road transport regulations.

Requirements

A valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
The ability to safely reverse onto loading bays and carry out trailer swaps.
A professional and reliable approach to work.
Safety boots and a high-visibility vest.
