About the Role

Manpower UK seeks a Class 1 Driver for temporary work based in Worksop. The role involves completing deliveries from the depot to distribution centres such as B&Q and Screwfix. Operating Monday to Friday, start times fall between 17:00 and 20:00. The hourly rate ranges from £15.84 to £17.12. Responsibilities include performing daily vehicle and load checks, securing straps, and reversing safely onto loading bays for unloading. Drivers will complete up to three runs per shift, returning empty for a reload or trailer swap. Adherence to road transport and health and safety regulations is essential. A valid Category C+E licence, Driver CPC, and digital tachograph card are required.

Class 1 Driver

Shifts: Monday - Friday, start times from 17:00 - 20:00

We are looking for a reliable Class 1 Driver to join our team, completing deliveries from our Worksop depot.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out daily vehicle and load checks, ensuring loads are secure and correctly strapped before departure.
Deliver to distribution centres, including Bandamp;Q and Screwfix.
Reverse safely onto loading bays, where warehouse staff will unload the trailer.
Return to the depot with an empty trailer, where you will either be reloaded or complete a trailer swap.
Complete up to 3 runs per shift.
Follow all road transport and health andamp; safety regulations.

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Experience reversing onto loading bays.
Good understanding of load security and vehicle safety checks.
Safety boots and a hi-vis vest are required.
