About the Role

Manpower UK seeks a Class 1 Driver to operate from its Worksop depot, with a salary up to £17.12 per hour on a temporary contract. This role involves Monday to Friday shifts starting from 22:00pm. You will carry out daily vehicle and load checks, ensuring cargo is secure and strapped correctly. Deliveries are made to distribution centres like B&Q and Screwfix, requiring safe reversing onto loading bays. Each shift involves up to three runs, returning with an empty trailer for reloading or a swap. A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC, and digital tachograph card are essential, alongside adherence to all safety regulations.

Shifts: Monday - Friday, start times from 22:00pm
Pay Rate: £17.12 per hour
We are looking for a reliable Class 1 Driver to join our team, completing deliveries from our Worksop depot.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out daily vehicle and load checks, ensuring loads are secure and correctly strapped before departure.
Deliver to distribution centres, including Bandamp;Q and Screwfix.
Reverse safely onto loading bays, where warehouse staff will unload the trailer.
Return to the depot with an empty trailer, where you will either be reloaded or complete a trailer swap.
Complete up to 3 runs per shift.
Follow all road transport and health andamp; safety regulations.

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Experience reversing onto loading bays.
Good understanding of load security and vehicle safety checks.
Safety boots and a hi-vis vest are required.
