Class 1 Driver

Location: SnettertonShift times: Monday - Friday / Tuesday - Saturday Nightshifts (start times usually vary between 15:00 and 20:00).Pay: £17.43 per hourLength of assignment: Ongoing (potential temp to perm)Manpower is currently recruiting for Class 1 HGV drivers to work on behalf of one of our national food and drinks logistics distribution clients.We have a wide arrange of opportunities with our client who offer a flexible approach, so we want to hear from you and understand what you are looking for, to put you on the best possible assignment.What you''ll do on a typical day: Carry out a maximum of two deliveries per nights to depots / customer delivery points, following all relevant store and non-store delivery procedures as per company and customer policiesMaintain the highest levels of hygiene and housekeeping standards within the depot, vehicle, and trailer assigned for daily dutiesRegularly inspect the vehicle for defects and wear and tear, and report any issues promptly to ensure timely and effective maintenanceAccurately complete all necessary paperwork within the given timeframe, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements What you need to succeed with our client: A full UK driving licence with C+E category - must have 2 years'' experienceLess than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)An up-to-date CPC and Digital TachographExcellent communication skills and ability to work on your ..... full job details .....
