Class 1 Driver in Skelmersdale

Ideal Recruit is looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing work with our well-established client based in Skelmersdale.

We offer regular work with the option to pre-book your shifts one week in advance, giving you more flexibility and helping you plan your week ahead.

Pay rates:

Monday–Friday: £210 per shift
Saturday & Sunday: £225 per shift
Holiday pay included
Weekly pay

Shifts:

Day starts: 02:00–07:00
Night starts: 19:00–22:00
Work available Monday to Sunday

Shifts are typically around 12 hours, with the possibility of up to 15 hours in line with drivers’ hours regulations.

The role:

Local and nationwide deliveries
Refrigerated / fridge work
Deliveries and collections of palletised goods
Modern fleet of vehicles and trailers
Ongoing, consistent work

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience
Valid CPC and Tacho card
Fridge experience preferred but not essential
