Class 1 Driver

Job Title: HGV-Class 1 Driver (Multidrop) Minimal to no handballing
Location: Manchester
Pay Rate: -17.37 to -35.16 p/h (includes rolled up holiday pay)
Shifts: Monday to Friday, Day and Night shifts (various start times) occasional weekends
Experience:-12 months Class 1 experience is essential

-19.05 Nights (Holiday Roll Up)
-19.05 Days Overtime After 8 hours (Holiday Roll Up)
-21.29 Nights Overtime After 8 hours (Holiday Roll Up)
Weekend rate subject to change after 12 weeks.

HGV Class 1 Driver - The role & responsibilities:

• Driving a-Class 1 vehicle
• Multidrop deliveries and pallet-collection
• Curtainsider work
• Loading and unloading with the use of Tail Lift and MHE-
• Conducting Vehicle Checks via mobile phone App

• Industry standard paperwork and vehicle checks will also be required.-

About you:

You will have a can do and approachable attitude.

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience in commercial driving.

You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept-DD, TT, DR, CD, IN-endorsements.

As a professional driver, you will have a good knowledge of the Working Time Directive and be able to manage your hours accordingly.-

You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.-
