The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods using a curtain side lorry for trunking work. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional service while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Duties: Operate a Curtain lorry to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of loads for safe transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policy. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally. Requirements: Valid commercial driving licence (CE). Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
