Staffline is recruiting a Class 1 Driver to work day shifts in Colchester. The rate of pay is £13.50 per hour, plus £20 per day for no infringements. Overtime is available and is paid at time and a quarter. This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, with various start times - All days, the earliest start time is 4.30am. Your Time at Work As a Class 1 Driver, your duties include: - Ensuring you complete daily vehicle checks to make sure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use - Ensuring you arrive at your job on time, informing the traffic office of any issues - Following all company procedures, customer procedures, and the Highway Code - Maintaining all health and safety standards - Completing all deliveries and collections as manifested - Complying with all EU tachograph and WTD regulations - Ensuring your vehicle is kept clean and tidy Our Perfect Worker Our perfect worker will hold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence, a valid Digital Tachograph Card, and a Driver Qualification Card (DQC)/Driver CPC. Applicants will have good communication skills. Experience in a similar role is required.
