Class 1 Driver - Days

Mainstream Fleet Services are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Class 1 Driver - Days to join their agency for an ongoing role based near Sittingbourne.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established agency with a great history who are looking for long term coverage with their client in the recycling industry.

The role entails (but is not limited to):

• General haulage of recycled waste and recycled paper.
• Delivering to hubs in various locations.
• Shifts will be an average of 12 hours long.
• Full time or part time hours available.
• This role is mostly driving but will involve some strapping and operation of the curtain.

A successful candidate will have:

• Full Class 1 licence with a minimum of 1 years' recent experience.
• Valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card.
• No more than 6 points and no DD or DR endorsement codes.
• A great knowledge of rules and regulations within HGV driving.
• Good roadcraft and geographical knowledge.

The hourly rate for this position is:

• Monday to Friday: £16.42
• Saturdays: £24.63
• Sundays and Bank Holidays: £32.84

This will be paid on a weekly basis. Holiday allowance is accrued on top of this rate. This position is ongoing and can be flexible.
