Class 1 Driver

Apex Resources are-currently seeking experienced and reliable Class 1 HGV Drivers for overnight trunking work. This role involves minimal manual handling, with duties typically including depot-to-depot deliveries, trailer swaps, or drop & collect runs.

Pay: -18ph week nights, -19ph weekends with -25.50 overnight allowance

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving Class 1 vehicles on planned routes overnight

• Ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods

• Conducting vehicle checks and reporting any defects

• Maintaining accurate paperwork and delivery logs

• Adhering to all tachograph and driving regulations

Requirements:

• Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Minimum-6 months Class 1 driving experience preferred

• Good understanding of UK driving and road regulations

• A positive, reliable, and professional attitude
