Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 drivers required for work in and around the Wolverhampton area.

Work involves:

• Completing relevant paperwork before and after shifts
• Local and nationwide deliveries and collections
• Start times will vary between 04.00 - 08.00 on days and 18:00 - 22:00 on nights
• Handball may be involved 
• Vehicle checking before and after shifts is essential 
• 40 hours plus a week
• Minimum of 8 hours paid
• Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work
• Providing exceptional customer service to customers.
• Maintain communication with the transport planners to inform them of any change of delivery, route or schedule.
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations on all work sites.

EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS:

• In date CPC
• Digi tachograph card holder
• 6 points maximum on licence
• Experience on curtain siders, steel and general haulage preferable
• Nights out would be advantageous
