Class 1 Driver

Mainstream Fleet Services are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for Class 1 Drivers to join their growing team based in Sittingbourne, Kent.

Our client can offer a variety of different shifts on an ongoing basis.

 The role will entail:

• Refrigerated distribution across a variety of locations.
• Delivering to RDC’s and collections to and from farms.
• On average 12-hour shifts.
• Some flexibility for start times as they may change from time to time.
• Mainly a driving role with minimal handling of the load.

A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Full Class 1 Driving licence (minimum of 12 months' Class 1 experience).
• Valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card.
• No more than 6 points or have the following endorsement codes showing (DD or DR).
• Compliant to all rules and regulations within LGV driving.
• Good roadcraft / Geographical knowledge.

Hourly pay rates:

• Monday to Friday (Days): £16.70
• Monday to Friday (Nights): £17.80
• Saturday (Days): £20.00
• Saturday (Nights): £20.70
• Sunday and Bank Holiday (Days): £23.62
• Sunday and Bank Holiday (Nights): £25.87

All the above rates are PAYE paid weekly. Holiday accrual will be in addition to the rates.
