HGV Class 1 Driver – Trunking

Mon–Fri

Up to £38k DOE

Location: Mid Kent  
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum DOE 
Bonus: £15 per day shunt bonus for early starts
Shifts: Monday to Friday only – no weekends
Contract Type: Permanent 

We are currently recruiting a Class 1 (C+E) Driver for a leading national furniture delivery company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver looking for clean trunking work, regular routes, and a healthy work-life balance.

This is not a multi-drop or home delivery role. You’ll be transporting goods between distribution centres using well-maintained vehicles, with very limited handballing.

The Role:

• Trunking between depots and regional distribution centres

• Monday to Friday – early starts (4am)

• £15 per day shunt bonus for early shifts

• No weekends, no manual unloading, no customer-facing work

• Supported by an experienced transport team and modern fleet

Requirements:

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Driver CPC and digital tachograph card

• Previous experience is required

• Strong timekeeping, professionalism, and safety awareness
