Class 1 Driver

Class 1 driver- Wakefield area.

Pay -20.82 - 23.85 depending on shifts patterns

We are currently recruiting a Class 1 Driver to work for our client.

The Role

As a Class 1 driver you''ll be reporting to the Team Leader, you will work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, adapting to new situations on a daily basis. This is a physically and mentally demanding role that requires reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.

Shifts:

Monday to Friday, average 9-10 hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
Safe and legal operation of a lorry

Conducting pre-trip vehicle checks

Ensuring loads are secure

Planning efficient delivery routes

Adhering to drivers'' hours and road regulations

Delivering goods to specified locations on time

Requirements

-Full UK driving licence with Category CE (Class 1)

-Excellent time management and organisational skills

-Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

-Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude

G-ood communication and teamwork skills

-Right to work in the UK

Minimum 1 year''s experience desirable

All drivers must complete a driving assessment and vetting process before starting.
