Job Title: Class 1 (HGV) Driver Trunking (Flatbed)Location: Widnes Job Type: Temporary Ongoing Salary: £17.94Monday Friday 6.00am start minimum 10 hour guarantee Aspion are seeking an experienced and reliable Class 1 (HGV) Driver to work for a company specialising in trunking work using flatbed vehicles. This role involves transporting goods between depots and customer sites, ensuring all loads are secured safely using straps and sheets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of load safety, compliance, and efficient long-distance driving.Key Responsibilities: Carry out trunking deliveries between distribution centres and customer locationsOperate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles with flatbed trailersSecure loads using ratchet straps, chains, and sheeting in line with safety regulationsEnsure all goods are transported safely and arrive on timeComplete daily vehicle checks and report any defectsAccurately complete delivery paperwork and logbooksAdhere to all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and company policiesMaintain a high standard of professionalism when representing the company Requirements: Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licenceValid CPC and Digital Tachograph CardProven experience in trunking workExperience using flatbed trailersStrong knowledge of load securing, including straps and sheetingGood understanding of UK driving laws and regulations At Aspion, our core values have been built around the importance of transparency, innovation, passion and collaboration. ..... full job details .....
