Manpower are looking to recruit a Class 1 driver (C+E) to work at one of the largest confectionary distributors in the UK, based in the York area


The ideal candidate must be flexible and be able to work various shifts days, nights, nights away, shunting. There will be weekend work also.


Working on average 2 to 4 shifts per week. - This is ad hoc requirement to cover extra work load, holidays and sickness so we cant guarantee regular hours


We are looking for driver that can work any required shifts (days, nights, trunking, shunting) and be fully flexible.

Pay rates
Day Drive £20.37
Night Drive £21.17
Shunting £22.16

Meal Allowance £10


Min of 6 hours paid per shift.

On average 8 to 12 hours shifts


There are various aspects of the role, you will be expected to drive load and unload if needs be and also there will be some shunting work involved, there will be some heavy lifting, pulling, pushing and twisting to move things around
This vacancy is on a temporary but long term ongoing basis
To be considered for this role you must have 18 month + Class 1 experience and have no more than 3 points on your licence - no disqualification''s will be accepted, the successful candidate will be put forward for a 3 hour assessment/induction on site followed by 3 days of training.
