About the Role
This permanent role for a Class 1 - Days driver is based in Washington, Tyne and Wear. You will join a busy transport operation, carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and completing deliveries and collections safely and on time. Keeping the transport office updated on any delays is essential, alongside complying with Drivers’ Hours, Working Time Directive and Tacho regulations. The Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you''ll:
- Complete daily vehicle safety checks
- Carry out deliveries and collections safely and on time
- Keep the transport office updated on any delays
- Follow company procedures and road transport legislation
- Comply with Drivers'' Hours, Working Time Directive and Tachograph regulations
- Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle
