About the Role

The Class 1 Day Driver position in Gloucester involves operating curtain-sided vehicles for a national distribution firm, handling full pallets with no handball required. Based in Quedgeley, this full-time role offers flexible ad-hoc shifts from Monday to Sunday, with start times between 06:00 and 08:00. Pay is £16.50 per hour, with opportunities for distance runs and night shifts. Drivers can choose their workload, from occasional days to regular full-time hours. Candidates need a valid UK Class 1 licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph card, plus a professional, customer-focused approach and teamwork skills.

HGV Class 1 drivers needed in Quedgeley, paying £16.50per hour, for ad-hoc shifts available Monday to Sunday, starting between 06:00- 0800am day shift. This will be full pallets on a curtain sider work, ad-hoc to full time available for the right driver. No handball is required.
Flexible work with shifts available Monday to Friday, work as little or as often as you like for a well-known national warehouse & distribution company, no hand balling required. Distance runs and night shifts available.
The successful candidates must meet the following criteria and for insurance purposes:

Hold a full in date UK C E driving licence (Class 1).

Hold a valid in date CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.

Positive & Professional 'Can Do' customer-facing attitude.

Be a team player, takes pride in keeping trucks clean & tidy.

Maximum of 9 points for minor endorsements, Over the age of 21.

Pass the company induction, theory, walk round checks, driving & reversing.

Further Information:

Day rate - £16.50ph

Night Rate - £18.50ph

Weekly pay each Friday or Monthly pay last Friday of the Month.
