Class 1 Container Driver

Job Title: Class 1 (HGV) Container Driver Location: Liverpool Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Ongoing agency (flexible options available)Job OverviewAspion are currently seeking experienced Class 1 (HGV) Container Drivers operating out of Liverpool. This role involves transporting containers to and from the docks and customer sites across the North West and wider UK.A dock card (e.g. Port Skills and Safety / RHIDES) is preferred but not essential, provided you have proven container driving experience and a strong understanding of port procedures.Key Responsibilities Transport shipping containers safely and efficiently to and from ports and delivery locationsCarry out daily vehicle checks and report any defectsEnsure all loads are secure and compliant with legal requirementsComplete delivery paperwork accurately and on timeAdhere to all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and company policiesMaintain excellent communication with transport planners and customersRepresent the company professionally at all times Requirements Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licenceValid CPC and Digital Tachograph cardMinimum 1 2 years Class 1 driving experience (container experience preferred)Experience with port work and container haulageDock card (preferred but not essential)Good knowledge of UK road networksStrong safety awareness and reliability At Aspion, our core values have been built around the importance of transparency, innovation, passion and ..... full job details .....
