Class 1 Driver - Peterborough Temp to Perm OpportunityWe are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join a busy distribution operation based in the Peterborough area. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for drivers seeking long-term, stable employment.Shift Pattern:Monday to FridayStart time: 09:00am ( 8 hour days)The Role:As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing collections and deliveries across the region, ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently while maintaining high service standards.Duties will include:Completing scheduled collections and deliveriesAssisting with loading and unloading at depot and customer locationsUsing handheld devices and company systems to update delivery information and job statusesCarrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulationsCommunicating effectively with transport teams and customersFollowing all driver hours, health and safety, and company proceduresPlease note that this is a physically active role and regular manual handling will be required.Requirements:Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) LicenceValid Driver CPC Qualification CardValid Digital Tachograph CardA professional and reliable approach to workGood communication skillsPrevious Class 1 driving experience ( 1 year minimum )What We Offer:Temp-to-perm opportunityMonday-to-Friday working patternOngoing, consistent workImmediate starts availableOpportunity to join a well-established logistics operationApply today ..... full job details .....
