About the Role

This permanent Class 1 ADR Tanker Driver (C+E) - Nights - Southamp position, based in Southampton, involves depot-to-depot trunking and refuelling at refinery sites. Working night shifts from 4pm to 8pm on a 4 on / 2 off rota, the driver ensures safe, compliant transport of hazardous goods while upholding road safety and customer service standards. Applicants need a valid C+E licence with ADR certification and proven HGV experience. Pay starts at £18.84 hourly, rising to £28.26 for overtime and weekends, plus a night bonus each shift and a performance bonus. This role offers ongoing night work with the chance to secure a permanent contract.

The Role

As a Class 1 ADR Driver, you''ll be responsible for:

Depot-to-depot trunking deliveries
Refuelling at refinery sites
Safe and compliant transportation of hazardous goods
Maintaining high standards of customer service and road safety

Start times: Between 4:00pm and 8:00pm

Available Shift Patterns

4 on / 2 off - Nights (Temp - Perm)

Pay andamp; Benefits

£18.84 per hour
£28.26 per hour after 42.5 hours per week and for all weekend shifts
£20 night bonus per shift
PAYE employment
28 days paid holiday per year
Dedicated Manpower consultant providing ongoing support

What We''re Looking For

To be considered, you must have:

Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
Current ADR Class 2 in Tanks qualification
Valid Driver CPC
Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum 1 years'' HGV driving experience
No more than 6 penalty points
No DD or DR convictions

Previous trunking or fuel delivery experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
