The department provides an essential service, guiding clients through complex personal injury claims with compassion, professionalism, and expert legal insight. You will work within a supportive environment where high-quality legal work and exceptional client care are at the forefront.Your new role As a Claims Handler within the Serious Injury Team, you will manage your own caseload of personal injury claims from instruction to resolution. You will supervise Paralegals, liaise with third parties, coordinate medical evidence, and negotiate settlements. Your work will include: Managing a caseload of serious injury personal injury claimsObtaining, reviewing, and organising all medical recordsLiaising with Police Forces for reports, CCTV, and evidenceContacting witnesses and gathering documentation for special damagesEnsuring clients attend medical examinationsPreparing cases for litigation, including Court BundlesAttending court hearings to assist CounselApplying legal analysis, case law, and statutory guidanceEnsuring regulatory and internal complianceCommunicating effectively with colleagues and clientsIdentifying opportunities for continuous improvement What you''ll need to succeed Proven experience handling personal injury casework involving serious injuries (intermediate/multi-track)High standard of legal work and exceptional ..... full job details .....
