As a Claims Handler, you''ll be responsible for managing public liability and/or recovery claims, providing a high-quality service. We deliver safety, warmth, and comfort to homes and businesses. Every role, whether in the office or on the front line, plays a key part in this mission. Here''s how you will contribute Receive, record, and acknowledge new claims, reviewing for completeness and coverage. Investigate, negotiate, settle, and maintain accurate records of claims, managing own caseload and escalating as needed. Work with legal support to resolve disputes. Authorise and approve claims in line with policies and legal frameworks (NSRWA 1991, Gas Act 1986). Follow best practices, adhere to policies and legal frameworks, and stay updated with relevant Case Law. Respond to inquiries about the claims/recovery process, providing clear and timely information. Provide excellent customer service, offering regular updates and promptly resolving issues.
