Claims Advisor

Job Title: Claims AdviserLocation: Southend, Essex (Office Based)Remuneration: 28,000 per annumContract Details: Permanent, Full Time, 9am to 5.30pmJob Opportunities:Manage claims, covering loss, theft, and accidental damage.Process claims and refund requests after cross-training.Collaborate with underwriters on product queries.Work with the all departments to ensure timely claim resolutions.Address and resolve sales and service enquiries.Process payments, including premiums and excess charges.Manage policy cancellations and engage in retention discussionsRecord and manage first-line complaints in accordance with company procedures. Experience We Are Looking For:Previous experience in claims or customer service within a regulated environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident on the phone and via email.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.A proactive, hardworking attitude with a strong customer service focus.Ability to juggle multiple products and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.A curious mindset, eager to challenge the status quo and suggest improvements.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Desirable Skills:Experience in handling customer complaints.Familiarity with fraud investigation and management.If you have a customer-first mindset and are eager to contribute to a forward-thinking team, we want to hear from you!
