Civils / SuDS Engineer Location: Bingley, Warrington or Nottingham office-based with occasional site visits Working Hours: Monday Friday, 08 00 Salary: Competitive salary + benefits + bonus The Opportunity We are working with a leading environmental engineering consultancy specialising in sustainable water management. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Civils / SuDS Engineer to join their team and play a key role in the design and delivery of sustainable drainage solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants to work on varied projects across residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors, while developing their technical expertise and contributing to innovative approaches within the industry. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, specification and implementation of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS). Undertake and review Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs). Develop and review detailed drainage designs using software such as MicroDrainage, Civil 3D, InfoDrainage, Site3D or FLOW. Prepare technical reports, design documentation and project proposals. Ensure designs comply with relevant legislation, planning policy, industry standards and the CIRIA SuDS Manual. Manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines and budgets are achieved. Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and regulators. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers where appropriate.
