We are currently looking for a Civils Works Manager for an important Civils client of ours based in Hinckley, LeicestershireThe Works Manager will oversee operations, coordinates resources, ensures safety and quality compliance, and leads teams to achieve project or plant objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesProject and Operations Management: Oversee daily activities on construction sites, manufacturing plants, or municipal works to ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standardsTeam Leadership: Lead and supervise staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring productivity, compliance, and effective communicationResource Allocation: Manage labor, equipment, and materials efficiently to optimize workflow and operational efficiencyHealth and Safety Compliance: Implement and monitor safety protocols, ensuring a secure work environment and adherence to industry regulationsQuality Assurance: Maintain high standards of work quality, monitor project progress, and enforce compliance with company policies and regulatory requirementsStrategic Planning: Develop production schedules, project plans, and operational strategies to meet organizational goalsProblem Solving: Address on-site challenges, resolve conflicts, and ensure smooth operations across all departments or project areasWorks Managers may also be responsible for budget management, logistics coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives in production or operational processes In municipal or public works ..... full job details .....
