Civils Site Manager

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting a Civils Site Manager on behalf of a long-standing regional groundworks & civil engineering contractor to manage a new project in the Harrogate area.

The contractor are well known for their growth in recent years and are currently operating with a turnover of over -50m across North of England. Sensible management systems in place & a structured organisation with large surrounding management team - meaning your job as Site Manager is made as smooth as possible!

The initial project will run for 12-months and includes roads & sewers,-s278 / s38 works as well as associated groundworks including-attenuation. It will require an initial site setup as PC and regular liaison with Yorkshire Water, local council & other parties.

Further to the initial-12 months the contractor are more than happy to keep people on an ongoing basis if their work is done to a high standard and move them to future sites. Further work will be very similar civil engineering & groundworks packages spread across West, North & South Yorkshire. Package values are up to -10m.

Duties:

• Daily running of site - as PC for site setup then as sub-contractor
• Ordering materials & managing supply chain
• Writing RAMS & site documentation
• Daily site diaries
• Undertaking 2,3 and 4 week look-aheads
• Monitoring progress against KPI''s to achieve-site deadlines
• Liaison with local authorities and developers

Experience Required:

• Must have proven experience delivering roads & sewers / deep drainage projects as Site Agent or Site Manager
• Must understand /-have experience with NRSWA
• Must be fully capable of running packages with values -2m+
• Must have full knowledge and ability with NHBC and highways spec
• Must have: SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid

Remuneration:

On offer is a day rate of up to -350 p/d (doe)

Can be paid CIS if desired.Alternatively, can be paid Ltd company outside IR35 providing contractors meet requirements. Elvet Recruitment has a dedicated IR35 partner who provide validation checks and offer IR35 insurance.
