Rate: £400–£500/day (flexible)

The Opportunity

We are recruiting a Civil Site Manager to take over an active project at a 132kV substation in Exeter.

The site is already around 3 months into construction, with the early civil works under way. You will pick up the civils package from its current stage and drive it through to completion.

This role offers continuity and involvement in a major infrastructure build with significant remaining scope.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ongoing civil works at the 132kV substation
• Manage contractors, daily operations, safety, and quality control
• Interface with ICP delivery teams and private connection stakeholders

Experience Needed

• Demonstrable experience in civil delivery on 132kV substations
• Background in HV, ICP or DNO environments
• Confident leading teams on an active site
